Grandmommy and Grandaddy's 65th Wedding Anniversary Update

Hello Everyone!

Just a few updates for the big celebration next week!

November 20th

Italian dinner at Bill and Diane's house. Their address is 10 Longspur. Diane's home number is 281-367-3625. Take the Sawdust exit from I-45N. Go to light on the feeder road and turn left. About the 3rd or 4th light, go left at the Chevron station (also a Starbucks on left and the CVS on the right) continuing on Sawdust. Go through one light (Sawmill), curve around at the caution light (15 mph) continuing on Sawdust. After you go under the brown golf cart path bridge, take the next left onto Grogan's Point Road. At the third street on the left, turn left on to Longspuand it is the 3rd house on the right.

November 22nd

Thanksgiving will be held at Rick and Becky's house. Dinner will be at 6:30pm but come over any time during the day to watch football or just visit! Our address is 66 N. Wooded Brook Circle. Take Research Forest about 7-8 miles from I-45, turn right on E. Alden Bridge, go over the bridge and take a right on Wooded Brook Drive, take left on to N. Wooded Brook Circle. Our phone number is 936-321-6201 if you need to call us.

November 23rd

Following golf, John and Bob will be hosting football watching and grilled turkey sandwiches at Rick and Becky's house! Directions are above!

Mexican Dinner will be held at Lupe Tortilla at 6:30pm. Lupe Tortilla Mexican Restaurant is located at 19437 I-45 and their phone number is 281-298-5274. Dress for this is casual. To get to Lupe Tortilla, take the Research Exit from I-45 North. Go approximately 1/3 of a mile and Lupe Tortilla will be on your right.

Also, please let Rick know if you'd like to play golf on Friday and Saturday! His e-mail is rlangley3@comcast.net. Terry and Bob have signed up!

The Merrick's are having a....

BOY!! I have just posted a long one on our blog if you want to read (click the Merrick link on the left), but here are some pictures from dinner with the families telling them the big news.

Langley 65th Anniversary Celebration Plans Coming Together!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the tentative plan is for the 65th Grandmommy and Grandaddy wedding anniversary celebration to be held on Saturday, November 24th in The Woodlands, Texas. John and Jonna are coming in this weekend so we hope to finalize the location, etc. The events will start about 5:30pm that day at the United Methodist Church and then proceed to the anniversary celebration. It should be great fun for one and all! Grandmommy and Grandaddy are hoping all their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spouses will be able to attend.

Also, for those of you who would like to come in early and spend Thanksgiving with Grandaddy and Grandmommy, a Thanksgiving dinner will be held. Those details will be finalized once we have a head count of who will be here that day!

Also, Bob and Rick will have their big 55th birthday on Friday so their will be some birthday celebration wrapped into all the activities!

I'm volunteering to keep track of who is coming and their dates of arrival so please E-mail me with your plans. I'll also take care of the Thanksgiving arrangements once we know how many will be here. I have a new E-mail address, it is rebeccalangley@comcast.net. The Eissler's new additions....PUPPIES!!

Hello Langley Fam,

Craig and I would like to introduce you to our newest additions into our family....Jax and Mya. They are two golden retrievers who we've had for two weeks now. They are so very precious and we're so excited to have them, we just wish they made dippers for dogs. They say getting dogs is the step right before kids, I don't really think that's the case for Craig and me. :) Hope you all are doing well. We can't wait to see you in November. The Merrick's News

I'm sure by now most everyone has heard our news! The Merrick extension of the Langley Family is expanding. We are expecting a little one in late January (the 23rd is the eda for our little bundle). Michael and I couldn't be more excited about becoming parents. Can't wait to see everyone in November, but until then we'll keep some updates on here. Happy Father's Day to all the dads in the Langley Family. Grandaddy and Grandmommy came over for a Mexican feast. Very yummy... thanks mom! Uncle Bill and Aunt Diane came over with their crew (all the girls and their husbands). We had fun just hanging out and catching up. Grandmommy made a fabulous scores cake. I loved it and wanted to eat the whole entire cake. Fun times. Look forward to hearing from everyone else very soon. Here are a few pics from the evening...
